Orchid Centre:Once neglected , the Orchid Centre has come up with a new look after the Government has taken an initiative to revive the centre. It spreads over a vast area of land and different kind of rare Orchids are being cultivated here. The orchid Centre is just half - a- km from Takdah Market towards 6th Mile.

TakdahMonastery:A small Monastery name DechhenPemaTshoiling Monastery or locally known as Takdah Monastery is located just outside of market area. To reach here visitors have to negotiate an uphill road and stair-cases. From the top of the monastery visitors experiences a beautiful surrounding view of Tea Gardens and Kalimpong Town.

Tea Gardens:Takdah is blessed with number of Tea Gardens which produce finest Darjeeling Tea. Among them Runglee-Rolliot ,Teesta Valley, Gielle are to name a few and which are worth visiting. Visitors can also experience the Tea Processing in any of the gardens with request.

BarboteyBridge: This century-old hanging bridge built in 1916 for transportation between two villages. It’s closed now for any kind of transportation. But walking on the bridge is really a thrilling experience.
